    Damn … this reminds me of my 1942 1012 (only 600 made) which was dug out of the desert after WWII and I bought for R100.00 from a mate in Pietermaritzburg.

    It was later stolen in Joburg … grrrrrr …

    My, but what a bike that was and how much fun and near death it caused me …

    Memories … sigh …

    My granddad had a Harley Liberator. (from the Canadian army)
    He bought it after the war ended and the troops went home.
    What a bike!!! Sadly it went up in flames when his workplace burned down
